About Doylo

Growing from strength to strength

Started by 11 foundation members in July 1958, Doyalson - Wyee RSL has grown from strength to strength to make it the club it is now with well in excess of 21,000 members and facilities that provide the community with dining, entertainment, leisure facilities, sporting feilds and a place to relax and meet with friends.

Doyalson- Wyee RSL relocated its first club house from Wyong Bowling Club in August 1963 (Pictured below) and become a licenced club on Christmas Eve 1964. The first poker machine license came into effect on January 1st 1965, the club at this point owned 6 machines but could not use them until a loan was given to enable money to be placed in them.

From these humble beginnings the club has continued to trade through the decades gaining many loyal members and extending its offering to the community.

In 2009 the Club gave over $270,000 back to the community through support and funding of local charities, sporting and community groups. The club is experiencing steady growth with the assets currently totaling over 15 million dollars.

In 2010 the club will take progressive action to make adjustments that will see the facilities become more modern with a new look and feel. Stage 1 begins in May and will see renovations occur in the dining and gaming rooms. We look forward to these enhancements of our facilities to continue to provide for our community.
